The German VDU workplace ordinance (BildarbV, also known colloquially as the VDU Ordinance) refers to all workplaces where people work permanently on VDUs.
There are proven risk factors at VDU workstations, psychosocial stress, lack of job satisfaction, monotonous work content and ergonomic job deficits. Exercise training is recommended to compensate for the deficits caused by lack of exercise. Muscular imbalances can be eliminated in this way, which leads to a reduction in complaints and stress optimization for the employees.
