Conviction compass
The compass uses an online questionnaire to determine the 5 fields of competence of successful persuasion, because success in the persuasion interview is determined by the following fields of competence:
- Building trust
- Needs analysis
- Interviewing
- Objection handling
- Conversation termination
and last but not least, through soft skills
- Empathy (or professional empathy)
To prepare and design a sustainable qualification in emphatic communication, it is important to know how these essential competencies are developed and what the focus must be on in the training.

Each participant fills out the questionnaire for the persuasion compass online before the training. The evaluation is available as a pdf and shows e.g. like this:
The 5 “hard” competencies are queried and assessed using case studies, the value for empathy is determined indirectly from the answers in the case studies.
The individual results will be treated confidentially and only made available to the participants.
